Community Iftaar, Today, Sunday August 15th

We have two important announcements:

1- Alhumdullilah! Last evening our community members came forward and sponsored the Community Iftaar for this Sunday (Today).

Therefore please disregard the previous announcement and Insha' Allah we will have a Community Iftaar on Sunday August 15th as well at Traina Elementary School [Click for Map].

2- Isha salat time has been changed, now Isha salat will start at 9:45 pm from today.

Tracy Islamic Center humbly requests volunteers to help out for the Community Iftaar hall setup. Please come and help, the hall will be open at 6:45 pm

The Mother of Br. Khalid Tarar passed away in Pakistan this morning. TIC expresses its deepest condolences to the Tarar family.

We ask Allah (swt) Almighty to bless her soul with His forgiveness and mercy and make her among the people of Paradise.

Community Iftaar, Today, Saturday August 14th

1- Insha’Allah on Saturday, August 14th (TODAY) we will have Community Iftaar at Traina Elementary School [Click for Map]. Please join us and invite your friends as well.

2- On Sunday, August 15th there will be No Community Iftaar due to lack of sponsorship.

Ramadan 1431/2010 will begin on Thursday, August 12th

According to the Shariah Council of California, the moon was not sighted today.

Therefore Ramadan will begin Wednesday evening with the first day of the fast on Thursday August 12th.

First taraweeh prayer will be held at Traina Elementary School [Click here for Map] on Wednesday (tomorrow) night following Isha at 9:30pm.
