We would like to update you on the recent developments and request your support:
New Masjid lot (2.59 acre) purchase: (Phase-I) Renegotiated with the seller to close the escrow and stop $1844.79 per month. The seller has agreed, if Tracy Islamic Center bring $350K (instead of $400K) by end of Dec. then we will close the escrow and the remaining balance of approx. $150K will be paid in next 24 months interest-free.
Currently, Alhumdullilah we have approx. $290K available and we are short $60K only.
We request you to please donate at least $250 per family (from 300 families) so we can close escrow by end of Dec., 2010. If you would like to donate now, please click the Donate button on our website. We also urge all members who have pledged in the past to please fulfill your pledges at your earliest.
Tracy Islamic Center will be mailing your donation receipts in the mid of Jan., 2011. If you have any questions regarding your donation please contact at: Finance@TracyIslamicCenter.Org.
May ALLAH (swt) accept our efforts and let us build our house in Jannah.

Outcome of the General Meeting
We would like to update you on the outcome of the General Meeting held on Sunday Oct. 31st at Tracy Islamic Center 11299 W. Larch Road.
With the praise of Allah (swt) and the leadership of Sheikh Basem, we had a successful meeting where our community came together and made the following decisions:
1- The community members overwhelmingly voted to go forward on our new Masjid project.
2- Decided to amend the Bylaws of Tracy Islamic Center as soon as possible and seek professional help.
3- Current Board of Trustees (BOT) has been dissolved immediately.
4- Current Board of Directors (BOD) will continue on with Tracy Islamic Center Management work.
On behalf of our community, the BOD would like to thank and acknowledge the efforts made by the members of the previous BOT and may Allah (swt) reward them.
