Alhumdullilah! Today as a Muslim Community we have achieved a very important milestone towards building a Masjid in the Tracy/Mountain House area.
Here is the update:
1- The escrow for 21400 S. Corral Hollow Road property has been closed and now this property has been transferred to Tracy Islamic Center.
2- The payment of $1844.79/month as “purchase contract extension fee” has been stopped.
3- The seller has agreed to carry $160K loan which will be paid to him in 3 years (on a quarterly basis) with no interest.
As you know we have already obtained the site approval from San Joaquin County Planning Commission to build a Masjid at this 2.59 acre corner lot (112,820 square feet lot).
Commercial water well is already installed and the septic system design has also been approved.
Now what is next:
A- To work on fundraising.
It is a responsibility of every Muslim in Tracy/Mountain House community to spread this message. Please donate generously, every penny counts.
B- To restart the building construction permit process
We will work on all possible options (scale down/scale up/in multiple phases etc.) to use this Masjid property as soon as possible. (Building construction permit process will complete Insha-Allah in 6 ~ 9 months.
This milestone could not have been achieved with out the help from ALLAH (SWT), your generous donations, and your duas. May ALLAH (SWT) accept our efforts to build a Masjid in this part of the world.
