Election Commission would like to remind you that election day is Saturday April 8th between Asr and Maghrib prayers. Please note that early voting is Sunday April 2nd between 12:15 PM and 1:15 PM.

Agenda:

• Voting, between Asr and Maghrib prayers.

• Dinner and sweets, between Maghrib and Isha prayers. Dinner is sponsored by the Board of Trustees and deserts sponsored by the Election Commission.

After Isha prayers, election results will be announced and new BOD will be confirmed by the Board of Trustees.

Speaker:........................ Dr. Khalid Siddiqi

    As a scholar and consultant, Dr. Hafiz Mohammed Khalid Siddiqi has been serving international communities in the Bay Area and over the United States since 1983.

Dr. Siddiqi is a lecturer of Islamic Studies and Arabic at the Graduate Theological Union's Center for Islamic Studies, Chabot College, Mission College and Ohlone College. He is the Director of the Islamic Education and Information Center, founder of the Islamic Law (Shari'a) Council and continues to serve as Secretary for the Council. Dr. Siddiqi earned his Ph.D. in Quranic Studies from the University of London and M.A. in Exegesis of the Holy Qur’an (Takhassus), from Al-Azhar University in Cairo, Egypt.

Dr. Siddiqi also is the regular Friday khateeb at the Islamic Society of San Francisco, Masjid Dar Esalam in San Francisco, California.
