Reminder - Community weekend Iftaar, Khatmul-Qur’an & Fundraising

Dear Respected Brother / Sister,

Assalamu 'Alaikum va-Rahmatullaahi va-Barakaatuh

1. Community Weekend Iftaar

Insha'Allah on this weekend (Sat July 11th and Sun July 12th) we have community Iftaars at TIC. Please join these Iftaars with your family, please arrive by 8:15 pm so we can all together make duaa just before Iftaars.

These iftaars are sponsored by our community member or by group of community members. 

We request each Family from Tracy and Mountain House areas, please donate $100 towards the Ramadan expenses. There is a special donation box marked as “Donation for Ramadan Expense” will be available at Community Iftaar and at Taraweeh prayer time on the donation collection table.

2. Khatmul-Qur’an & Fundraising

a. Insha'Allah, on the 27th night of Ramadan (July 13th Monday)

c. Fundraising for Masjid construction, seed moneyTarget $125,000.

d. Taraweeh/ Khatmul Qur’an, and Duaa

e. Sweets distribution

We request all community members to please attend this event and participate and donate generously for the seed money for the next construction phase of the Masjid.

Khatmul Qur’an, Masjid Construction Fundraising & Eid Celebrations

Dear Respected Community Member,

Here are the updates from Tracy Islamic Center:

1. Khatmul-Qur’an

a. Insha'Allah, on the 27th night of Ramadan (July 13th Monday)

b. Isha Prayer will start at 15 minutes earlier at 10:00 pm.

2. Fitra

a. This year minimum Fitra amount is $10/ person

b. Fitra must be paid prior to Eid-ul-Fitr prayer.

c. Fitra box is available daily at Masjid and will also at the Eid prayer site.

3. Zakat

a. Zakat is 3rd pillar of our religion “Islam”

b. Please pay your Zakat to Tracy Islamic Center.

c. Especially marked, Zakat collection box is and available at TIC.

  

4. Eid-ul-Fitr

a. Insha'Allah, based on the new moon (Hilal) sighting Eid-ul-Fitr will be either on Friday, July 17th or Saturday July 18th.

b. Eid-ul-Fitr prayers will held at Veteran’s Park, Tracy

c. Prayer start time 8:30 am.

5. Tracy Islamic Center Eid Celebrations/Get-together

a. Saturday, July 25th (from 11:00 am ~ 4:00 pm) at TIC.

b. Open to all, this is a donation based event with lot of activities for Kids and Adults.

c. Please mark your calendars, and more details will be provided later.

Insha'Allah, this weekend we have community Iftaars at TIC as per following:

1. Saturday, June 27th - Community Potluck Iftaar

a. Insha’Allah Dates, Drinks and Paper products will be provided by TIC.

b. Request each family to get food enough for their family members plus to share with one or two additional community members.

2. Sunday, June 28th - Sponsored by community members 

Please join these Iftaars with your family and arrive our Masjid by8:15 pm so we can all together make duaa just before Iftaars.

Ramadan Mubarak from TIC

Dear Respected Community Member:

Asalaam-olaykum,

Ramadan Mubarak!

 

Based on the credible sources, the new moon (Hilal) has been sighted today at various places, therefore the 1st day of Ramadan will begin on Thursday, June 18th and first Taraweeh will be tonight, Wednesday, June 17th at Tracy Islamic Center. 

 

Insha'Allah Isha prayer will start at 10:15 pm and followed by Taraweeh prayers.

Dear Respected Community Member:
Asalaam-olaykum,

Inna Lillah Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oun
Truly we belong to Allah and truly to Him we shall return.

Tracy Islamic Center expresses its deepest condolences of Dr. Abdul Razaqque who has passed away yesterday in San Deigo., who is uncle of Br. Irfan Usman and also brother of Br. Abdul Hamid.

May Allah (SWT) The Most Merciful have mercy on his soul, forgive his short comings and accept his prayers and good deeds. Grant peace and Noor in his grave, grant him the best of the Jannah (Jannat al-Firdaous).

Please make Dua-e-Maghfirah for him, May Allah (SWT) grant him a place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. May Allah (SWT) give strength and sabr-e-jameel to their family members to bear this loss. 

May Allah (SWT) grant patience to the family and increase their Imaan, make them better Muslims, replace what they lost with something better! Aameen.
