Eid Mubarak! Eid-ul-Adha on Sunday August 11th, 2019

Assalamu'Alaikum va-Rahmatullaahi va-Barakaatuh & Eid Mubarak!

The New Moon of Dhul Hijjah has been sighted locally and globally today Thursday, August 1^st. Insha'Allah the first day of Dhul Hijjah will be tomorrow Friday, August 2^nd. 

Day of Arafah (9^th Dhul Hijjah) - Saturday August 10^th

Eid-ul-Adha (10^th Dhul Hijjah) - Sunday August 11^th

Eid-ul-Adha prayer will be held at Veteran's Park (Grass ground area)

1-     Veteran's Park

        238 Glenhaven Drive

        Tracy, CA 95377

 

2-     Takbeer starts at 8:00 AM

 

3-     Eid prayer starts at 8:15 AM (SHARP)

Special request to all Community Members

1. Volunteers help is requested on the Eid day for prayer area setup, volunteers need to arrive at Veteran's Park by 7:00 AM.
2. There will be plenty of road side parking around Veteran's park. Please do not park your vehicle in front of any driveway of neighborhood houses.
3. Since we will be praying Eid in an open park, please allow ample time to park your car and make your way to the designated prayer area, shown on the map [Click for Map].
4. Please be careful: Tracy Police will make extra rounds around the Veteran's park area and illegally parked vehicles will be towed away at the owner's expense.
5. Please bring your prayer rug just in case.
6. We will also appreciate that you please bring your own chair, if you need one.

Topic: Who is Allah and why should we love him

     Sh. Khalil Skafi studied for 5 years on the beautiful land of Egypt. There he finished an Arabic and Quran program at the Al-Ibaanah Institute, and from there he moved on to the Shariah Faculty at the Al-Azhar University. He now regularly lectures at events and Masajids in Sacramento and its surrounding neighborhood area.

    Topic: Protecting your children from Ideological Invasion

    

      Br. Tariq Mojaddedi is a teacher at the Islamic Society of Tracy, he also gives regular Khutbahs at the Islamic Society of Tracy, Yaseen Foundation located in Belmont and surrounding local Masajid's. He graduated his degree in Arabic language from Fajr International Institute for the Arabic language in Cairo, Egypt., while also studying Qu'ran, Tajweed and private Islamic Studies with Azhari professors. Currently he is en route to soon attain his Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University, associated with Azhar University. He did his schooling at Chabot College in Hayward, CA and was one of the founders of the Islamic School and classes located there.

Ramadan Mubarak 2019

Dear Respected Community Member:

Assalaamu'Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh !

1. Ramadan Mubarak

The crescent moon to commence the month of Ramadan 1440H was looked for after the sunset of Sunday, May 5, 2019. Reports from sub Committees of CHC, both local and regional, have confirmed that the moon was SIGHTED in Atlanta and Chile, therefore the 1^st day of Ramadan will be tomorrow Monday, May 6^th and first Taraweeh will be tonight Sunday, May 5^th at Tracy Islamic Center.

Insha'Allah Isha prayer will start at 9:45 PM followed by Taraweeh prayers.

Ramadan is here, with 2^nd Annual TIC youth activities to encourage brotherhood and attachment to the Masjid.

On Saturday May 11^th

Starts after Taraweeh till 2:30 AM with Qiyam after Suhoor in IHOP

• Baseketball tournament for Boys 13 years and up.
• Father and Son Hangout for boys 8 yrs to 10 yrs with Soccer, Laser Tag and much more

On Friay May 24^th

Starts after Taraweeh till 2:30 AM with Qiyam 

• Baseketball tournament for Boys 14 years and up.
• Fun Time for Boys 8 yrs to 13 yrs
• Itikaf and Qiyam for everyone (Parents and Kids)

Inna Lillah Wa Inna Ilayhi Raji'oun

Truly we belong to Allah and truly to Him we shall return.

Tracy Islamic Center expresses its deepest condolences for the beloved mother-in-law of Br. Syed Daud Ali from Mountain House and Br. Wajih Khan from Tracy who passed away in India this morning.

May Allah (SWT) The Most Merciful have mercy on her soul, forgive her short comings and accept her prayers and good deeds. Grant peace and Noor in her grave, grant her the best of the Jannah (Jannat al-Firdaous).

Please make Dua-e-Maghfirah for her, May Allah (SWT) grant her a place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus. May Allah (SWT) give strength and sabr-e-jameel to the family, to bear this loss. 

May Allah (SWT) grant patience to the family and increase their Imaan, make them better Muslims, replace what they lost with something better! Aameen.
