Important Updates from Tracy Islamic Center

Dear Respected Community Member,

Asalaam-olaykum

1) Please note: starting from this upcoming Friday Oct.10th, Friday prayer Khutba will start early at 1:15 pm and flowed by Friday prayer Iqamah about 1:45 pm ~ 1:50 pm.

2) Insha-Allah our Masjid Phase-1A Inauguration/Open House is planned for Saturday Oct.18th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Dinner will be served and we request you please plan to attend this historical event.

3) TIC School Reminder: Due to Eid-ul-Adha holiday there is no school at Tracy Islamic Center from Monday Oct. 6th to Sunday Oct. 12th. Classes will resume from Monday Oct. 13th.

As a reminder TIC school year 2014-15, school calendar was already included in the admission package to give the advanced notice to TIC school students and their parents so they can plan accordingly.

Friday Sept.5th 1st Prayer in Masjidū Dārissalām, Tracy Islamic Center

Insha-Allah! September 5th we have 1st Friday prayer at Masjidū Dārissalām, Tracy Islamic center.

We request you to please follow these important points:

1-Max. speed limit on Masjid parking lot: 5 miles/hour.

2-Additional parking is available on the unpaved area, please follow the instructions of the volunteers who will help in managing the parking area.

3-We need additional volunteers for Friday prayer arrangements, please send your availability to:  info@tracyislamiccenter.org

Masjid Construction Phase-1A (Completed)

Dear Respected Brother / Sister,

Assalaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh!

Alhumdullilah! Tracy Islamic Center Masjidū Dārissalām Phase-1A construction work has been completed and signed off by San Joaquin County and City of Tracy concerned departments on Friday August 29th.

Now the occupancy permit is expected to be issued by San Joaquin County either on Tuesday, Sept. 2nd or Wednesday, Sept. 3rd, therefore Insha-Allah 1st Friday prayer is expected in Masjidū Dārissalām on Friday, Sept. 5th, 2014.  We will issue another email notification next week as soon as we receive the occupancy permit.  Insah-Allah Masjid Phase-1A inauguration ceremony will be held on a weekend in the mid of September and we will update you later.

Alhumdullilah! with the help of ALLAH (swt) and with your contributions the Phase-1A has been completed almost in 13 months from the ground breaking in the month of Ramadan last year. To see the updated Masjid project pictures, please click the following link:
