We would like to update you on upcoming community events:

1- Tracy Islamic Center Family Night:

TIC Family Night will be on Saturday, Jan 28th, 2012 at Traina Elementary School [Click for Map], event time is 6:00pm to 9:00 pm. We request you to please keep this evening open and plan to attend this event. More details about this event will be provided later.

2- Daily Prayers at Tracy Islamic Center:

Alhumdu-lillah, we have 5 times daily prayers led by our respected Sheikh Basem at Tracy Islamic Center. Please strive to attend these daily prayers with Jamat (Congregation) in the Masjid.

"The prayer in congregation is twenty seven times superior to the prayer offered by person alone."

3- Tracy Islamic Center School:

Tracy Islamic Center School 2nd semester will start from Monday, Jan 2nd, 2012. There will be limited seats for new students and admission will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Eid-ul-Adha will be on Sunday Nov. 6th

The Tracy Islamic Center has confirmed sighting of the new crescent moon (hilal) of Dhul Hijjah 1432AH on Thursday evening (October 27th) at several locations in the United States, including California and around the world; therefore Eid-ul-Adha will be on Sunday Nov. 6th. Advanced Eid Mubarak!!!

Insha-Allah Tracy Islamic Center will hold Eid-ul-Adha prayer as per following schedule:

TIC School Registration Begins Today

Alhumd-u-llilah, based on our community request for the first time during the new school year 2011- 2012, Tracy Islamic Center offering weekday afternoon classes along with regular Saturday Class. Insha-Allah, School classes will start on Monday, Sept. 26th.

Note: Student's Groups will be assigned on a 1st come 1st serve basis, so be sure to submit your School registration forms as soon as possible to Sheikh Basem at Asr, Maghrib or Isha prayers, starting (Monday) Sept.19 untill (Thursday) Sept. 22nd.

Student’s group assignment list will be available on upcoming weekend.

1- Mountain House Muslims have organized a “Eid Celebration Event" in Mountain House on Saturday Sept. 10th, 2011.

Event Time: 12:00 noon till 4:00 pm Insha Allah.

There will be fun activities for kids and variety of foods will also be available to purchase directly from the vendors.

Entry Ticket: $15 per family and for more information please call 209-627-0607.

We encourage all community members to please participate in this event.

2- Alhumdullilah Tracy Islamic Center donation request mailers have already been delivered or are at the final stage of the mail delivery. If you have received your mailer we request you to please do not ignore it and mail whatever you can at this time in the prepaid postage envelope included in the mailer.

3- We request all community members who have pledged donations during the month of Ramadan Fundrasing to Tracy Islamic Center, please remit your donations at your earliest convenience. Allah (SWT) will reward you for your Sadaqah-e- Jariah.

4- Tracy Islamic Center is holding daily prayers, please make your prayers with Jammat (congregation) in Masjid, Insha-Allah it will be rewarded 27 times as compared to praying individually.

5- TIC Masjid School admission information will be emailed be soon Insha-Allah.

1) Insha'Allah, we will have Khatmul Quran and a Fundraiser for the new Masjid Project on this Friday, August 26th, and Isha Prayer will start earlier at 9:15 pm.

Tracy Islamic Center requests and encourages every Muslim of the area to participate in these special events and donate generously.

Alhumdhulillah the New Masjid lot has been purchased, the necessary approvals from the local government departments have been obtained, and we need donations to build the Masjid.

We request you to please come forward and take this opportunity. Building a Masjid is a Sadaqah-e-Jariah.

2) Insha'Allah, on this last weekend of Ramadan Saturday Aug. 27th and Sunday 28th, we will have Community Iftaars at Traina Elementary School [Click for Map].
These are open invitation events to our community members.

Please make a special Dua for the families who are sponsoring the Community Iftaars.

3) Eid ul Fitr will be held at Veteran's Park in Tracy.

Salat will begin at 8:30 AM Sharp

​Fitra amount is $5.00 per person.

We will provide you further updates about Eid-ul-Fitr Day (Based on Shariah Council) as we move forward.

Current Masjid Updates

1. We are pleased to announce that our Respected Sheikh Basem has joined Tracy Islamic Center as our full time Imam. Please join us in welcoming Sheikh Basem to Tracy.

2. Alhumdullilah, now Sheikh Basem is leading daily prayers at Tracy Islamic Center, please make an effort to pray your daily prayers with Jammat. Monthly Iqamah times are always posted at Tracy Islamic Center’s website,www.tracyislamiccenter.org.

3. Now every Saturday after Fajr prayer Sheikh Basem conducts a one-hour class for Brothers “Recitation of the Holy QURAN with Tajweed, please attend this no cost class and don’t miss this opportunity.

4. Tracy Islamic Center’s 2nd Quarter Financial Statement has been posted on the notice board inside the Tracy Islamic Center for your review, for any questions or more detail please send an email to finance@tracyislamiccenter.org.

5. The last day for Saturday School for this Quarter will be July 30th and Saturday School will resume after Ramadan.

1. Alhumdullilah our Muslim community in Tracy & Mountain House area is growing, at present Tracy Islamic Center does not have sufficient facilities to support late hour prayers therefore during the month of Ramadan Isha & Traveeh prayers will be held at Traina Elementary School.

New Masjid Project

3. As you know Alhumdullilah San Joaquin County has already approved our Masjid project, now we are behind because of lack of funding. We request every Muslim Community Member to please donate generously and enroll in Tracy Islamic Center’s monthly donation plan which is easy, automatic and secure. Also invite your family and friends to enroll as well, this will help us to build our own bigger Masjid sooner and avoid renting outside facilities. Allah (SWT) will reward you for your efforts. January 2011 Community Update

Dear Respected Community Member, Assalamualykum, We would like to update you on our progress during the month of January: New Masjid Project After a couple of meetings with our Architect and San Joaquin County now we got a green light that our new Masjid Project can be subdivided into more than two phases. We are now evaluating different options of development plans. TIC Bylaws As we have informed you earlier, that a revised copy of TIC bylaws would be available in the 1st week of Jan. 2011; we are running behind on this task. Board members are working with respected community members, Insha'Allah soon we will update you on the progress. Current Masjid Update The Masjid’s bathroom had a broken cast iron main pipeline, which has been replaced with new plastic line, now bathroom is fully functional. For your tax purpose the donations receipts of year 2010 have been mailed out already, if you have not received your receipt, please send us an email at Finance@tracyislamiccenter.org. An enclosed bulletin board has been installed in the Masjid to post the announcements. Starting 2011 the monthly financial statement will be posted in the Masjid in the 1st week of next month. Insha'Allah the financial statement of Jan. 2011 will be posted in the 1st week of February.
