Monthly Family Night Program - Friday December 7th, 2018

Insha’Allah! Tracy Islamic Center monthly Family Night program is on Friday December 7th, 2018.

Please attend this event with your family members and learn more about the Islamic values which we need to adopt in our daily life.

Guest Speaker :   Br. Tariq Mojaddedi

Topic : The Struggle of Youth and importance of Empathy

    Br. Tariq Mojaddedi is a teacher at the Islamic Society of Tracy, he also gives Khutbahs at the Islamic Society of Tracy and Yaseen Foundation located in Belmont. He graduated his degree in Arabic language from Fajr International Institute for the Arabic language in Cairo, Egypt., while also studying Qu'ran, Tajweed and private Islamic Studies with Azhari professors. Currently he is en route to soon attain his Bachelor's Degree in Islamic Studies at Mishkah University, associated with Azhar University. He did his schooling at Chabot College in Hayward, CA and was one of the founders of the Islamic School and classes located there.

Support for Victims of Northern California Fires

Dear Respected Community Member:

Assalamu 'Alaikum va-Rahmatullaahi va-Barakaatuh,

Our hearts and thoughts go out to the families impacted by the fires that raged through California which is one of the deadliest in our state's history with over 105,000 acres and officials fear coming high winds will make this fire more difficult to contain

We have reached out to Islamic Center of Chico who has stepped up and opened their hearts and mosque to evacuees. Tracy Islamic Center is supporting their efforts and is asking for our community to join us in remembering our neighbors to the north in our prayers and also helping with supplies and financially. All donations will be distributed directly to the Islamic Center of Chico, where mosque volunteers in Chico will distribute to evacuees.

Tracy Islamic Center is putting a call out to the community to drop off the below mentioned items to bins at Masjid Patio area by 2:00 PM this Sunday (11/18/2018) or to any Tracy Islamic Center Masjid Volunteer
  • Blankets
  • Pillows
  • Sleeping bags
  • Backpacks/ tote bags to carry items
  • Tooth brush / tooth paste
  • Toiletries
  • Diapers
  • Toys
  • Canned food
  • Shoes and socks (new)
and, gift cards in any denomination from Target/Walmart.
You may also donate toward relief efforts either by
  • Check (Payable to "Islamic Center of Chico" or "Tracy Islamic Center") with Memo Paradise Fire Victim fund
  • Online (by Credit/Debit Card) from our website "http://www.tracyislamiccenter.org/"
  • ATM Card Swipe machine during Juma Prayers
and Tracy Islamic Center will make sure the funds reach volunteers at the Islamic Center of Chico.
