Khatmul-Qur’an, Eid Prayer and Celebrations

Dear Respected Community Member:

Assalamu 'Alaikum va-Rahmatullaahi va-Barakaatuh !!

Alham'Dulillah, The blessed month of Ramadan is upon us once again. We have been awarded another Ramadan and have been given another chance to make our appeals to Allah to worship Him.

Here are the updates from Tracy Islamic Center:

1. Khatmul Quran & Masjid Construction Fundraising

    A. Khatmul-Quran

1. Insha'Allah, Khatmul-Quran will be on the 29^th night of Ramadan (Friday April 29^th)
2. After Isha (9:45 PM), Fundraising for Masjid Expansion Project 
3. Taraweeh/ Khatmul Quran, and Duaa
4. Sweets distribution

We request all community members to please attend this event and participate and donate generously for the next construction phase of the Masjid.
 

Also, we are also working out to have virtual Fundraising on our YouTube Channel for Masjid Construction Project. The details will be sent out soon Insha'Allah.

 

    B. Fitra

1. Fitra amount is $10/ person
2. Fitra must be paid before Eid-ul-Fitr prayer.
3. Fitra box is available daily at Masjid and also at the Eid prayer site.

    C. Zakat

1. Zakat is the 3^rd pillar of our religion "Islam".
2. Please pay your Zakat to Tracy Islamic Center.
3. Zakat collection box is available at TIC.

3. Eid-ul Fitr Update

InshAllah Eid ul Fitr will be on either Sunday, May 1^st or Monday, May 2^nd based on New Moon Sighting.

Eid-ul-Fitr prayer will be held at Tracy Islamic Center on open parking lot.

1. Takbeer starts at 8:00 AM
2. Eid prayer starts at 8:15 AM (SHARP)

Guidelines

1. Must bring your prayer rugs (Janamaz)
2. You must bring your chairs.
3. Recommends to wear a mask.

Eid Celebrations immediately after Eid prayers till 2PM.

 

Please support and follow the directions shown by volunteers.

4) The Holy Month of Ramadan!

Ramadan is here and it is time to prepare ourselves both physically and mentally to take advantage of this blessed month.

• “O you who believe, the fasts have been enjoined upon you as they were enjoined upon those before you, so that you may be God-fearing.” (Quran 2:183)

• Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Sahih al-Bukhari )

5) Masjid Construction Fund!

Please remember: "Whoever builds a Masjid for Allah, Allah will build for them a Palace in Paradise" - Bukhari & Muslim

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Masjid Construction Project is progressing at a slower pace. We greatly appreciate how the community responded to our request and donated generously towards this noble cause.

With all your support Alhum'Dulillah a lot of work has been done to expand the facility however, more help is needed!

6) Appeal for Masjid Operations Fund!

Generous donations from the community on every Friday after Jumma prayer was a significant source of income for the Masjid and unfortunately that has slowed down.

Ramadan Mubarak!

The new moon (Hilal) has been sighted today locally and as well globally at various places, therefore the 1st day of Ramadan will be tomorrow, Saturday, April 2^nd and first Taraweeh will be tonight, Friday, April 1^st Insha'Allah after Isha prayer at 9:15 PM. May you and your loved ones have a blessed Ramadan, accept our fasts, prayers and duas. Aameen!

Boys Fun Night Outs!

Tracy Islamic Center is proud to host a Boys Night Outs during Ramadan to the Muslim community of Tracy, Mountain House, Lathrop and other surrounding communities.
