Thanksgiving

They made for him what he willed of elevated chambers, statues, bowls like reservoirs, and stationary kettles. [We said], "Work, O family of David, in gratitude." And few of My servants are grateful

It was narrated that Mu'adh Ibn Jabal said:

"The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) took my hand and said: 'I love you, O Mu'adh!' I said: 'And I love you, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ).' Then the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: 'Never forget to say in every prayer: Rabbi a'inni 'ala dhikrika wa shukrika wa husni 'ibadatik (My Lord, help me to remember You, give thanks to You and worship You well.)" { Sunan an-Nasa’i }
  1. Allah, the Almighty, ordered the messengers and the believers to perform Shukr.
  2. How can a believer become a grateful one?
  3. The absence of Shukr means the attendance of ingratitude.
  4. Allah promised the increase with Shukr but hunger and fear with Kufr.

The Masajid Rules and etiquette.

The mosques of Allah are only to be maintained by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day and establish prayer and give zakah and do not fear except Allah, for it is expected that those will be of the [rightly] guided.

Salman (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "If a man takes a bath on Friday, (or) purifies himself as much as he can with Wudu', oils his hair, applies whatever perfume available in his house, sets forth for the mosque, does not separate two people (to make a seat for himself), performs Salat what is prescribed for him, remains silent when the Imam speaks, his sins between that Friday and the following Friday will be forgiven." Sahih al- Bukhari
  1.  Masajid are the houses of the Almighty Allah.
  2.  They should be well established and well taken care of them.
  3.  Allah witnessed Iman for its visitors.
  4.  The etiquette of going to / being in the Masjid.

Salman Al- Faresi

Those will be given their reward twice for what they patiently endured and [because] they avert evil through good, and from what We have provided them they spend

Abu Burda b. Abi Musa narrated it to me on the authority of his father that verily the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There are three (classes of persons) who would be given a double reward. One who is amongst the People of the Book and believed in his apostle and (lived) to see the time of Apostle Muhammad (ﷺ) and affirmed his faith in him and followed him and attested his truth, for him is the double reward; and ……….etc. { Sahih Muslim }.

  1. Salman the seeker for the truth.
  2. He had to renounce the comfortable life to reach the right religion.
  3. He was a moderate not an extremist.

The Essence and the Means of Fleeing towards Allah

“So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner”.

‘Ali bin Abi Talib that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say at the end of Witr: (O Allah, I seek refuge in Your pleasure from Your wrath, and I seek refuge in Your forgiveness from your punishment, and I seek refuge in You from You. I cannot enumerate Your praise, You are as You have praised Yourself). Sunan Ibn Majah
  1. Allah, the Almighty, tries those whom he loves.
  2. The meaning of Fitnah or Fitan.
  3. The two main causes of Fitan.
  4. Brief reference to the story of the three companions whom they were left behind and regretted their mistakes.
