Assalaamu'Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh !

The Moon has not been sighted locally or globally. So, we will be completing our 30 days of Ramadan and first of Shawwal 1442 will be on Thursday, May 13^th, 2021 Insha'Allah. 

Eid-ul-Fitr prayer will be held at Tracy Islamic Center

1- Tracy Islamic Center
     11970 W Larch Road
     Tracy, CA 95304

2- Takbeer starts at 8:00 AM

3- Eid prayer starts at 8:15 AM (SHARP)
 

Guidelines to be followed related to COVID and ongoing Masjid construction

1. Must bring your own prayer rugs (Janamaz)
2. All restrooms and Wudu areas will be closed. Please perform Wudu at home.
3. Must bring your chairs.
4. Must wear mask and maintain distance all times.
5. Dress for cold/Hot/windy weather.
6. All worshipers must leave immediately after the prayers.
7. Please stay away from the construction area.
8. Please avoid parking on roadside
9. If you have any of the symptoms like cough, fever, shortness of breath, body aches, headache and runny nose or you have been in contact with COVID-19 positive patient then please stay at home to avoid spreading he virus

It is extremely important to adhere to these conditions at all times in order to keep the facility open. Please support and listen to volunteer directions.

1) The Holy Month of Ramadan!

Ramadan is here and it is time to prepare ourselves both physically and mentally to take advantage of this blessed month.

• “O you who believe, the fasts have been enjoined upon you as they were enjoined upon those before you, so that you may be God-fearing.” (Quran 2:183)

• Allah's Messenger (SAW) said, "When the month of Ramadan starts, the gates of the heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils are chained." (Sahih al-Bukhari )

2) Masjid Construction Fund!

Please remember: "Whoever builds a Masjid for Allah, Allah will build for them a Palace in Paradise" - Bukhari & Muslim

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, Masjid Construction Project is progressing at a slower pace. We greatly appreciate how the community responded to our request and donated generously towards this noble cause.

With all your support Alhum'Dulillah a lot of work has been done to expand the facility however, more help is needed!

3) Appeal for Masjid Operations Fund!

COVID-19 pandemic has put a significant financial constraint in collecting funds for Masjid operations as the facility has been closed due to shelter-in-place directive from the local authorities.

Generous donations from the community on every Friday after Jumma prayer was a significant source of income for the Masjid and unfortunately that has completely stopped.

Please come forward and help the House of Allah with your generous donations!

Khatmul-Qur’an, Fundraising & Eid Prayers at Tracy Islamic Center

 Dear Respected Community Member:

Assalamu 'Alaikum va-Rahmatullaahi va-Barakaatuh !!

Here are the updates from Tracy Islamic Center:

1. Khatmul Quran & Masjid Construction Fundraising

    A. Khatmul-Quran

1. Insha'Allah, Khatmul-Quran will be on the 27^th night of Ramadan (Saturday May 8^th)
2. After Isha (9:45 PM), Fundraising for Masjid Expansion Project 
3. Taraweeh/ Khatmul Quran, and Duaa
4. Sweets distribution

We request all community members to please attend this event and participate and donate generously for the next construction phase of the Masjid.
 

Also, with the limitations we have, we are also working out to have virtual Fundraising on our YouTube Channel for Masjid Construction Project.

    B. Fitra

1. This year minimum Fitra amount is $10/ person
2. Fitra must be paid before Eid-ul-Fitr prayer.
3. Fitra box is available daily at Masjid and will also at the Eid prayer site.

    C. Zakat

1. Zakat is the 3^rd pillar of our religion "Islam".
2. Please pay your Zakat to Tracy Islamic Center.
3. Zakat collection box is available at TIC.
