When:

Sunday, October 31st

Meeting start time: 12:30 PM

Where:

Tracy Islamic Center

11299 West Larch Road

Tracy, CA 95304 [Click for Map]

We request you to please attend this meeting as an important member of the Tracy Islamic Center.

Tracy Islamic Center is a non-profit organization; it is not owned by a single person. But rather it's ownership lies in the hands of Tracy and Mountain House Muslims who adhere to it's Bylaws. A Copy of these Bylaws can be found by [clicking here] We highly encourage you to read this document prior to the meeting.

As per Bylaws, the Tracy Islamic Center currently consists of:

1. The “General Body of Muslims”, which are the members of the Tracy Islamic center as defined in the bylaws.

2. The Board of Trustees (BOT), which currently has 4 voting members and 2 non-voting members but no chairperson.

3. The Board of Directors (BOD), which currently has 6 regular members and 3 other supporting members and a chairperson as President of the Board. The BOD manages and runs the Tracy Islamic Center system.

Since this meeting has been called on behalf of the BOT, it will be the first opportunity for the General Body of the Muslims to meet each BOT member after 16 months of them being in office and hear of their achievements as well as ask them any questions.

The Board of Directors will also be available to provide their achievements of the past 16 months and answer any questions you may have.

Tracy Islamic Center’s Finance Director will have a list of the Members, ready prior to the general meeting, who have fulfilled their minimum obligations as defined in the TIC Bylaws section # 6 “Membership” up to September 30th, 2010

For membership related questions please write an email to: finance@tracyislamiccenter.org.

Once again we request you to please make your full efforts to attend this meeting and further humbly request you to please postpone any other personal obligations you may have at this time.
